Barbara is a senior executive with more than 25 years of medical education, strategic marketing and pharmaceutical communications experience. The founder of Wunderman Thompson Health's medical educational unit, International Meetings and Science, Inc. (IMsci), Barbara has created and executed medical communications programs supporting the successful launch and uptake of some of the world’s best-known global brands. As President of this division, Barbara strives to combine the best in strategic thinking with flawless execution.

IMsci is characterized by strategic marketing insight, technological innovation, integrity, high compliance, and the ability to launch high-profile brands. IMsci has made tremendous strides in optimizing their clients’ educational offerings via online and digital platforms. These digital programs deliver relevant information to physicians and engage them with rich content and services that are integrated seamlessly into the context of their daily workflow.

Barbara’s extensive background has provided strategic guidance to many pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Recently she has supported global and US business on a CDK4/6 inhibitor in breast cancer and VEGF inhibitor for RCC and ALK and EGFR mutations for mNSCLC. Over the years she provided insights and direction to clients on Gardasil and Velcade. IMsci also supported the MMRF on a number of fundraising initiatives and thought leader roundtables that helped bring hematology oncologists together to share their work and treatment options.
