Carlos Laureano is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He began his career in advertising with Foote, Cone and Belding (DraftFCB) in 1996. In 2003, Laureano accepted the challenge from J. Walter Thompson, where he climbed the ranks from Account Supervisor to Account Director, then from Group Director to Vice President of Client Service and Business Development, for which he was responsible for significant new business such as Nestlé Puerto Rico, AT&T and DirecTV, among others.

In January 2015, Laureano moved to Grey LATAM to become the agency’s VP, Managing Director, with a mandate to restructure Grey in Puerto Rico and lead its transformation. In October 2019, Carlos was named CEO of Wunderman Thompson Puerto Rico, tasked with leading the merged agencies. An industry leader, Carlos was President of the Board of Directors for the Advertising Agencies Association of Puerto Rico in 2018 – 2019 and is currently President of the Cúspide Creativity Festival of Puerto Rico.
