Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, João has happily and effectively connected people and brands across 4 continents and almost every business segment over the past 20 years.

Currently the Chief Creative Officer at Wunderman Thompson Australia, João heads up a highly inspired multi-disciplinary team across three offices nationally, producing innovative solutions and driving growth for some of the country’s most ambitious brands.

Prior to that, he’s had solid award-winning stints at Wunderman Thompson Bangkok, Ogilvy Singapore, Publicis Portugal and TBWA Brazil, with work that’s been recognised across multiple categories at Cannes, Clio, Effies, D&AD and the One Show, to name a few.

After living in Rio, London, São Paulo, Lisbon, Bali, Singapore and Bangkok, he’s now happy to call Sydney his new home with his wife and their two boys.
