Maree Prendergast is the Global Chief People Officer at Wunderman Thompson, a Network built to inspire growth for ambitious brands.

As Global Chief People Officer, Maree is responsible for leading talent and career management across the agency globally. She also helps drive the agency culture supporting the talent within the organization, andleads and supports the inclusion and diversity programs within the agency.

Maree brings 20 years of experience and leadership to Wunderman Thompson in talent management, human resources, human capital consulting, executive recruitment strategy, succession planning, and organizational design and development. She has held leadership roles in New York, Chicago, Paris and Sydney.

Prior to joining Wunderman Thompson, Maree was Chief Talent Officer for Publicis.Sapient, where she was responsible for the talent function globally across the Publicis.Sapientbrands. She also served as Chief Talent Officer for Publicis One. Before that, she was Chief Talent Officer, North America for MSLGROUP. She also held several talent management positions at Marina Maher Communications (part of Omnicom) for six years.

Before making headway through the advertising industry, Maree worked at global human capital firms including Korn/Ferry International as a partner to clients across multiple industries including professional services, technology, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, consumer health, pharmaceuticals, eCommerce, public relations and digital marketing.

Maree holds a B.A. degree in Modern Languages (Japanese & Media Studies) from the University of Canberra. She is a native of Australia and currently lives in New York. She has lived in many different countries including, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and France.
