Megumi started her career as a new grad at J.P. Morgan in　1988, working in Equities and derivatives Operations, Operational risk management, project management, internal consultant/resource management, and business management for the APAC Tech & Operation Management team.

She switched expertise from internal control management to HR, joining Goldman Sachs in 2006. She then moved to Moody’s Investor Services in 2010, assuming the roles of Head of HR and CAO.

After taking a 6-year career break, she returned to work at Barclays Securities as the Head of HR. Throughout her career she served as a member of the diversity & inclusion committee and focused on process re-engineering.

Megumi joined Wunderman Thompson Tokyo in July of 2020 as the HR Director.

She is the mother of 1 daughter and 1 son.
