A successful AI/ML implementation cannot be packaged in a box

Only a small proportion of companies are reporting significant success with AI. A survey of senior executives published in October 2020 by BCG and the MIT Sloan Management Review found that while 60% of businesses have an AI strategy, only 10% are reporting significant financial benefit from using AI. For those that are getting it right, the impact of AI/ML is measurable, definitive, and overwhelming.

To sum up, no AI/ML is ever completely out-of-the-box or a flip-of-the-switch. Successful deployments always require a little dash of guidance, a little of dash know-how, and a good once-over by a data scientist.
