18.-26. September 2020 - Global Week to Act4SDGs 2020: Millions of concerned individuals across the world, joined by award winning Artist Uğur Gallenkuş, 3 German creative agencies and supported by global partners and the United Nations mobilize to call for the COVID-19 recovery to be a just, equal and sustainable one, and to make this a major turning point for people and planet.

While world leaders meet for the first time since the pandemic began at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, millions across the world are mobilizing for people and the planet as part of this year’s Global Week to Act4SDGs. The mobilization seeks to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as Covid-19 threatens to reverse years of progress. This year marks the fifth-year anniversary of the adoption of the Goals, seen as the ‘north star’ for a better recovery and universal plan to end poverty, fight inequality and address the urgency of climate change.

Right now the claim #TurnItAround seems more relevant than ever. The world is upside down and it needs all of us to use our combined strength to make the Earth a place worth living and livable.
