I have been at Wunderman Thompson since the start of the project, working as Executive Creative Director and also overseeing the formal craft of campaigns in my capacity as Head of Art.

Before the merger that created the agency, I held the same role at SCPF for eight years. I previously worked as Creative Director at Shackleton after having worked at Sra. Rushmore and once again SCPF, where I started in 2001 as Art Director. During my 20-year career I have been fortunate to have worked for clients such as BMW, Vodafone, TOUS, Ikea, Coca Cola, Diesel, Danone, Heinz, Cosentino, Banco Sabadell, Solvia, San Miguel and El Corte Inglés.

I believe in relevant creative ideas that build brands. I also believe in brands that establish a new model for connecting with their consumers through innovation. It is no longer enough to broadcast an advertising message. A brand has to accompany its consumers, listen to them, understand them, be useful to them and demonstrate their values with actions. I love sharing this vision with my colleagues; a fantastic team of professionals from whom I learn something new every day. In fact, a number of them have been in my life longer than my partner.

I’m proud to have been part of the adventure that was opening Shackleton's Barcelona office as Creative Director and helping it to be named Agency of the Year three years in a row at Cannes Lions Direct. Although I would say that what I find most rewarding about this profession is being able to make a living doing things that I would be prepared to pay to do, like learning from great talents, traveling, meeting interesting people and eating a good txuletón from time to time in Portuetxe.

Outside the agency, I have a secret plan: to try to introduce my three children to some of my favourite hobbies so I can continue enjoying them to the full. My hope is that one day they will play instruments so we can form a thrash metal cover band.
