Brandie’s career spans 20 years, having won over 350 international Advertising Creativity and Effectiveness awards along the way. Aside from winning awards, he has also judged many award- winning works in AdFest, Spikes Asia, New York Festivals, AdStars and Cannes.

His illustrious career has garnered him one of Philippine Advertising’s most sought after honors - a spot in the 4As Creative Guild Hall of Fame, where he joins only the most elite of Filipino creatives.

He started out as an Art Director in BBDO Guerrero where he worked on Pizza Hut, Pepsi, Visa and FedEx. In 2006, his work for Philippine Animal Welfare Society titled “Cat Dreams” won the Grand Prix in Craft ad Adfest. In 2007, Brandie and his team won the Philippines’ first-ever Gold Lion for their work on the Lotus Spa Radio Campaign for J. Walter Thompson Philippines. This was followed by his international assignment as Executive Creative Director in Lowe Vietnam.

When he returned to Manila, Brandie became BBDO Guerrero’s Head of Art. During this time, he helped create "Lola Techie” (Grandma Techie) a film and social-led integrated campaign about a tech-savvy grandma who was hooked on Facebook and online games. Lola Techie was such a success for the client, Bayan Telecom, that the campaign influenced how the category advertised to its target audience.

In 2010, Brandie was promoted to Co-Executive Creative Director. One of his most notable achievements were helping win the high-profile Philippine Department of Tourism pitch and helping create the Bayer Saridon Headache Tablet campaign “Persistent Headaches”.

As ECD of Lowe Malaysia, Brandie continued to win pitches and grow the business – a track record that led to his fifth ECD role at Publicis JimenezBasic, the largest advertising agency in the Philippines. Jimenez was the AOR for the country’s biggest brands – Jollibee Fast Food, Monde Nissin, San Miguel Foods, Splash Personal Care and Globe Telecom. During this time, Jimenez’s creative profile rose up the rankings with a steady improvement in the quality of the work, and a film for Globe Telecom’s Rogue One sponsorship called “Create Courage”. This was a story about a little girl who wore a Stormtrooper mask to school every day. It became viral overseas, garnering over 8 million organic views on YouTube alone.

Brandie’s now back in J. Walter Thompson Philippines and leads teams for Globe Telecom, HSBC, Bayer, Del Monte and Johnson & Johnson. Brandie is a graduate of the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines. He took post graduate studies in Advertising Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he also taught and helped shaped the curriculum of advertising.

Outside of work, Brandie enjoys photography, illustration and being of service to his cats: Jack, Bruce, Dart and Coco.
