Dania is a seasoned medical strategist with more than 15 years of industry experience. As Chief Medical Officer of Wunderman Thompson Health, Dania drives the development and implementation of medical strategy across brands and the creation of content for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Prior to Wunderman Thompson Health, Dania worked at the FCB Health Network across multiple agencies, including Area 23 and FCB Cure. There, she established, grew and led best-in-class medical teams. Dania has provided strategic and scientific support for more than 30 oncology brands across multiple tumor types, as well as a number of brands in the immunology, rheumatology and infectious disease categories.

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Dania received her BS in biology from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and went on to earn a PhD in biomedical sciences from the Mount Sinai Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dania then pursued a brief postdoctoral fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she researched investigational drugs to target rhabdoid tumors in mouse models. Dania’s research experience includes work in neurobiology, signal transduction, muscle physiology and 10+ years of experience in cancer research.

Dania continues to pursue her passion for helping people with cancer through her involvement in fundraising efforts, including the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Miles for Moffitt Cancer Center, and running marathons to support them.
