I joined Wunderman in 2000, so I guess that makes it easier to keep track of everything. I came on board following an initial foray into consulting at Accenture, plus a few years spent working in retail for clients such as Walmart, Tesco and Carrefour. So, really, it was the desire to get to know other sectors and work from the agency that prompted me to move over to the dark side.

My career has essentially focussed on the development of Customer Intelligence and CRM strategies and projects, seeking the most effective and efficient ways of connecting brands and consumers, using data throughout the customer journey. And I have been lucky enough to be able to do it in all kinds of sectors and with all kinds of brands.

My background is in engineering, so I am passionate about everything that can be done using data. Every day, we face the challenge of discovering new things and learning how to use them for the benefit of our clients. Being able to apply innovation and new technologies to so many different sectors has been the incentive to get my mornings off to the best start these past years.

I’m proud of the work we do, but especially when we manage to transform monotonous or mechanical tasks into more creative processes that allow us to incorporate people's talent, as has been the case with the major transformational change and automation projects we have undertaken for clients on lead generation platforms, behavioral forecasting models etc.

What else can I say about myself? That I live in El Escorial, which says it all, with my wife and children of 16 and 18. From El Real Sitio I enjoy my great passion – nature and all the activities in it that my free time allows me do. From bike rides with the family, which includes the dog, to motorbiking with friends, ski trips or days spent sailing and kayaking in the surrounding reservoirs. So if you’re looking for me outside the office, you know where to find me.
