Ernest Riba is the Wunderman Thompson Latam Chief Strategy Officer. He joined the team after leading HOY/Havas in Argentina as Managing Director, where he drove the agency transformation turning it a reference point for cultural innovation in two years, gaining momentum as the #3 most creative agency in Argentina and working with brands such as Netflix, Peugeot, Danone, Starbucks or Cabify among others.

He previously worked for 5 years as Head of Strategy & Innovation at Wunderman Argentina, where collaborated with brands such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Movistar or Microsoft. In 2014, he created the Wunderman Invention Platform (WIP), an R&D studio focused on creating agency's Intellectual Property, taking part in the development of projects such as Pattery, the battery helping AI bot, or Yumit, the interactive meal set, highlighted by Wired as "one of the smartest designs of 2015".

Spanish-born, he studied Advertising at the UAB in Barcelona and at the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin. He is an Executive Master in Marketing Management, awarded by the ESADE Business School Barcelona, and has completed a Management Development Program at IAE Business School Buenos Aires. He is currently finishing his Master's Degree in Social and Political Anthropology at FLACSO.

Ernest recently represented Argentina as part of the jury for the Cannes Lions 2019.
