Born in Shanghai, Janet holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in Canada. Her core digital DNA is the foundation of her proven track record for building digital capabilities and growing client business in China’s rapidly changing market.
Janet joined Wunderman Thompson from Edelman Digital, where she served as Managing Director for China starting in 2013. Before joining Edelman Digital, she was General Manager at Soho Square, an independent digital pure play agency under the WPP Group established to deliver end-to-end digital marketing solutions for Procter & Gamble. Janet also worked as a Business Director at OgilvyOne Worldwide, where she delivered digital marketing strategies and oversaw strategic implementation of CRM programs for Audi, Volkswagen, Nestle, Perrier and San Pellegrino, and as a Regional Business Director at Grey Global Group in Hong Kong on the Pernod Ricard account. Prior to these roles, she worked at Yahoo! China, where she managed advertising and research programs for clients in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), automotive and finance sectors, and at Wunderman China.
With over 20 years’ experience in advertising, Janet has become a visionary progressive business leader working with both multinational and local clients in many varied industries.
