Javier Navarro joined Wunderman Thompson last July 2020 as CEO for the operation in Spain. Javier comes from DoubleYou, where he managed the company and at the same time lead The Vrain, a virtual reality studio and also Método Foren, a startup dedicated to the health sector. Javier started during the early stages of editorial media digitalization (Marca, Expansión, Telva,….) leading the Sales and Digital Marketing departments and later on was in charge of the creation and development of the Digital Services department at Carat and Universal McCann with an offering of strategy, planning and creativity. After this experience he launched The Next Ad, a digital agency associated with Doubleyou and Wysiwiyg.
Javier has also been Regional CEO at Havas Digital where he created and lead the companies in almost every discipline: creative, media, data, social media and mobile marketing. He has also launched several startups like: WakeApp, TheAppDate, The Vrain, Metodo Foren or The Digital Gate.
He has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, a Master degree in Marketing and Commercial Management (IE) and several courses in ISEAD and IESE and has been President and Vicepresident of the IAB during 5 years, member of the jury at the Efficiency Awards and teacher in different business schools (IE, ICADE, Universidad Complutense, …)
