Josh Loebner, PhD, is a 20-year brand, advertising and inclusive design pro and supports global brand initiatives centering on inclusive design, disability, and accessibility. He joined Wunderman Thompson in May 2022 as Global Head of Inclusive Design to lead the Inclusive Experience Practice, which provides inclusive and accessible consulting, strategy, creative, experience, and design expertise for clients.

As an industry leader and subject expert, Josh has been published in several journals including The Advertising & Society Quarterly, has judged for the Association of National Advertisers Multicultural Excellence Awards and has spoken to and mentored disabled and marginalized students through the Association’s Advertising Education Foundation. Most recently, he received his doctoral degree from Clemson University, where his research focused on greater disability inclusion within integrated marketing campaigns, and the advertising creative process.

Josh is an American Advertising Federation chapter Hall of Fame inductee and was awarded the AAF National Silver Medal for outstanding contributions to advertising, furthering greater inclusion of people with disabilities.

Josh is fully blind in one eye and legally blind in the other, but clearly sees the best in everyone. He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife and two daughters, where in his spare time he enjoys craft bourbons and artisanal toffee.
