Larissa Pohl is Chief Executive Officer of Wunderman Thompson in Germany. The proven brand expert has been managing the fortunes of the brand and costumer experience agency from Frankfurt since March 2019. Previously, she was responsible for the Central Europe region as Chief Strategy Officer. The agency head's top clients include Microsoft, Beiersdorf, Dr. Oetker and Bayer. Her expertise is in global brand campaigns and the linking of data, technology and creation.
Before the psychology graduate returned to the Rhine-Main region three years ago, she was at home in the far north. The Hamburg-based advertising agency Jung von Matt brought her on board in 2015 and also made the businesswoman a partner. Until then, Pohl worked in various positions at the WPP network agency Ogilvy & Mather Germany. Most recently, as Chief Strategy Officer there, she was responsible for the strategic product of all Ogilvy units at the Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Berlin locations. Larissa Pohl has been involved in the German Association of Communications Agencies (GWA) for many years. Since November 2021 she is the new President of the GWA and works in the "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion" department.
