In May 2020 Lee Leggett was appointed the Chief Executive Officer, Australia at Wunderman Thompson - a global network built to inspire growth for ambitious brands.

Lee started her career in London at Modem Media (now Digitas) before joining Tribal DDB where she ran the Volkswagen, Barclaycard and Guardian business before progressing to Head of Account Management and Business Development Director.

She joined Grand Union to run the Britvic and Santander account portfolio and was promoted to Managing Director a year later.

In 2006 Lee joined Dare as Managing Director and was part of the team that saw Dare named Digital Agency of the Decade by Campaign magazine in 2010.

Dare merged with MCBD in 2011 & Lee was named CEO of the new agency. During this period Dare was named one of the World's Most Innovative Companies (Fast Company) and IPA Effectiveness Company of the Year.

In 2013 she moved with her family to Australia and joined IPG’s Initiative as CEO. She joins Wunderman Thompson having most recently been consulting to a range of agencies including Havas & Publicis, in addition to working with WPP AUNZ’s Hogarth.

Lee attended Wharton Business School in Philadelphia having been awarded the Patricia Mann Award in 2008. In the UK she sat on the IPA Council and chaired the Digital Group until 2010. She remains an active member of Women in Advertising and Communication London (WACL) and has served on the Executive overseeing the Future Leaders Fund. Most recently she was appointed as a Senior Advisor to the United Nations Development Programme for her continuing on The Lions Share Fund.

She lives in Sydney with her husband Jaimes and their children Tate and Miller.
