As a Global Client Partner and the Wunderman Thompson Health St. Louis lead, Mike oversees the direct response, digital content, performance media and health insurance strategy teams. With his extensive experience in health insurance marketing, the agency has become one of the most sought-after marketing resources in the healthcare sector, supporting over 45 health insurance clients across the United States.

Mike and his team support clients in multiple areas, including new member acquisition, engagement, retention and multi-channel marketing. Services span consumer engagement services, data and analytics, creative, digital, strategy and omnichannel campaign execution.

Mike serves as a guide through the complex US payer system for clients. His perspective on member engagement is driven by a deep knowledge of the US healthcare landscape, including healthcare reform and changes to government compensation models, as well as more than 30 years of database and integrated direct marketing experience.

Mike has held consulting, sales and sales management positions in the call center, database marketing and Internet technology industries. In 1999, Mike founded the Odyssey Group, an Internet technology and business process consulting practice. The Odyssey Group was acquired by Marketing Direct, Inc. in 2001 and, in 2010, Marketing Direct was acquired by Wunderman.

Mike serves on the boards of the American Lung Association and Good Shepherd, a Catholic Charities organization.
