Mitch Thornburgh is Chief Financial Officer within our Studios division, a technology-powered, content production house, built by combining the best studio maker capability with the largest technology production provider in the industry. Joining the WPP team in 2010, Mitch leads the global finance and business operations, commercial management of all client portfolios, and the full ownership of multiple P&Ls, staff resources, and strategic objectives for the group.

Mitch was Initially appointed as part of the team to manage the formation of a powerful new global WPP production entity, pooling thousands of people across 10 countries into one new global organization. Through his results-oriented, high-energy, and driven business leadership, the entity has more than tripled in people and doubled in locations globally, making it one of the largest digital & content production companies in the industry.

Mitch is known for his ability to establish and nurture productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners and successfully guide and facilitate clarity and direction in matrixed environments leading to organizational sustainability. Clients such as Dell, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Ford, Pfizer, United Airlines, Colgate, Best Buy, and T-Mobile, look for his talent at leading such financial operations of varying sizes, depths, and complexities for their global engagements.

Prior to joining, Mitch held senior positions at JP Morgan Chase & Co., Informa PLC, and as a minority owner of a global provider of marketing strategy and research consulting services, Market Trends.
