I joined Wunderman Thompson in September 2020 as Technology and Innovation Director. I did it in the middle of a pandemic, excited to contribute my knowledge and vision to an extraordinary team of people specialised in technology, data and digital production.

I took the leap from Grey, another agency in the WPP Group, which I was part of for 11 years, working as Digital Director and contributing experience and muscle to digital projects for brands in different categories; Banco Sabadell, e-laCaixa, PortAventura, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC), Revlon Pro, the Ministry of Labour, Volvo, Seat, Renault, Vileda, Allianz, Soler y Palau, Vueling, Domino’s Pizza, the Festina Group, Universidad Europea de Madrid and Vodafone, among others.

Passionate about my work, innovation and knowledge, I combine my professional side with an enthusiasm for sharing everything I have learned. This is what has led me to write more than 17 books for Anaya y Pearson Educación, and to teach as a Professor of Digital Strategy and Creative Innovation at the Barcelona School of Creativity, EAE Business School and Universidad de Málaga, as well as other institutions.

Before joining the advertising industry I worked in the publishing world, editing more than twelve titles focused on the new economy, e-commerce, technology applied to business, CRM and foreign trade, as well as content syndication projects at a pivotal time for the Internet in Spain. I’m proud to have been the only Chief Editor in Spain to have managed to syndicate the American content of Wired and Business 2.0, the two yardsticks that accompany my life.

I personally meet all the requirements to be a geek. Devourer of science fiction books, fan and collector of films – as the good son of a film and TV editor and director – and lover of photography (especially with drones).
