Unati is Chief People Officer for the Wunderman Thompson South Africa group. She has a Master’s degree in Psychology, years of experience in HR management, and is a qualified Consciousness Coach.

Unati is responsible for the People value chain of Wunderman Thompson, creating a culture which enables talent to thrive and fosters both personal and business growth. Other skillsets include performance and talent management, elevating employee engagement, coaching and facilitation, succession planning, leading and people management and overall HR practices and governance.

Her psychology background enables her to fully understand human behaviour and how best to optimise it in shaping and creating successful organisations through people.

Prior to Wunderman Thompson, Unati spent 7 years in the insurance industry within the Human Resources Division of Hollard Insurance . Prior to this she worked as a Counselling Psychologist at the CSVR (Centre for the Study of Violence & Reconciliation) and a facilitator at the Department of Health.
