Today at Adobe Summit, we announced the integration of Resolve, Wunderman Thompson’s solution for cookie-less audience resolution, into Adobe Experience Platform. Brands using Experience Platform will now be able to leverage Resolve to connect first-party data, enhance their customer view, and create personalized experiences – while respecting customer data.

Resolve is an identity solution that complements Experience Platform’s existing identity resolution capabilities. Resolve intelligently helps brands recognize and reach customers so they can personalize CRM, Media and eCommerce experiences without sharing data or using third-party tracking.

Ongoing privacy-focused changes in legislation and technology, including the deprecation of third-party cookies, means that brands will lose access to much of the data they currently use to target audiences and drive online sales. Resolve enables brands to take ownership of their customer data to create direct relationships and more personal experiences.

Resolve is an intelligent identity solution that sits inside a brand’s owned cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services). Unlike other identity solutions, Resolve is fully deployed to the brand’s private environment, ensuring that privacy sensitive data never leaves the brand’s control. Resolve works alongside existing marketing technology and analytics, assisted by deep neural AI networks to learn patterns in consented consumer data. And Resolve delivers results quickly with customers typically seeing a 20-40% increase in their ability to re-identify consumers.

For a luxury retailer brand, Resolve drove a 40% uplift in the number of website visitors they could identify. Applying this uplift to their existing Abandoned Basket CRM programme led to 24% incremental revenue from that programme alone in the first six months after deployment.

In today’s digital economy, being respectful of customer data while providing great experiences are both critical for brands to build trust with their customers. Resolve complements Experience Platform’s existing real-time customer profile, data unification and governance capabilities, allowing brands to make the most of their first-party data, create richer customer profiles and ultimately deliver more personalized experiences at scale—while respecting customer privacy and consent.
