Who we are looking for

A passionate and driven personality that will drive client account efficiency and collaborate with teams from across the business to develop new business and fuel organic growth on existing accounts. Focus areas would include cost efficiency, margin efficiency, timeous delivery; and assisting with overseeing and co-ordinating the activities of teams across all areas of the account. Underpinning all of this is the need to build strong and enduring client – agency working relationships

What you'll do:

  • Help to provide specialist consulting advice to support our client requirements
  • Help with scope and quote client requirements
  • Help to write clear, integrated briefs that accommodate inputs and outputs from different teams at Wunderman Thompson or, in the case of a lead agency supplier role, this may be required across all agency partners
  • Help to ensure account profitability and revenue targets are achieved
  • Assist with allocating resources in a manner that fulfils contractual obligations and simultaneously maintains desired margins
  • Support the team’s delivery against KPAs set with associated KPis
  • Support with driving efficient team delivery
  • Support with maintain efficient account administration
  • Help to build strong client – agency relationships
  • Become a Brand Ambassador for the Agency
  • Understand enough about the South Africa team’s capabilities to assist with credentials proposals, cost estimates, pitch processes and potential or existing client requests
  • Build a strong appreciation for the changing marketing landscape and the convergence between communications, platforms and customer experiences
  • Support agency marketing and communications efforts
  • Help drive specific projects that support the work we do on a day-to-day basis. For example: helping with the preparation of specific topic presentations that proactively make clients aware of our group capabilities beyond the existing scope on a client account, helping to drive a consistent pipeline of case study development, helping to refine credentials collateral

We leverage data and technology, combined with our sound strategic expertise, to ensure profitable outcomes for our clients. We build for the future, helping clients to drive their industries forward, co-creating innovative solutions to face and drive future market changes. We identify quick wins to deliver immediate efficiencies for our clients, freeing up resources to spend elsewhere in the organization.

As a Catalyst you will be involved in the following:

  • Articulating Client Needs: Documenting business requirements so that we and the customer can agree on what needs to change and take advantage of new possibilities.
  • Venture Building: We define and build end-to-end “NewCos”, or value propositions born out of customers’ expectations, leveraging current assets, technology and data.
  • Strategic Roadmap: We determine what has to be done in each layer of the organisation to take the current business to the next level.
  • Digital Turnaround: We undertake rapid diagnosis, focusing on quick wins and mobilizing the organisation in preparation for a full capability assessment.
