Challenge

With traditional white sliced pan falling out of favour in some Irish households amidst a rise in coeliac-friendly products and the war on gluten. We wanted to remind Irish consumers of the simple pleasures Brennans Family Pan can bring.

Inspiration

We wanted a campaign that showcased the iconic and dependable nature of Brennans Bread, as it is seen to play a part in key moments for Irish households and culture.

Idea

'Born and Bread'. An idea to remind Irish people of the simplest of pleasures which can be found in a slice of fresh, tasty Brennans Family Pan. Along with all the feelings of comfort and home the brand has built up over decades of consistently delivering on its brand promise.

Growth

In 2019, the TV ad when reworked for social, received such levels of engagement, that it actually pushed Brennans Bread into the top 1% of brands on Facebook in the world with regards to engagement.
