Following the An Post rebrand in 2019, we needed to develop a distinct look, feel and tone for An Post Insurance from which the brand would start to build a true distinctiveness for itself in the general insurance sector. The sector is cluttered with advertising from competitors, most of which sell largely homogenous products. We needed to try break the mould of Irish insurance advertising by adopting a new creative approach which generates talkability, in a way that compliments the new An Post brand work.


Insurance is perceived as complicated, and can be daunting for consumers at all stages of the customer journey. An Post Insurance has multiple proof points which take the complexity out of insurance for consumers, including an end to end online application process, and humans at the end of the phone who speak plain English, not insurance jargon.


‘Human about Insurance’. A campaign that explored the frustrating and emotional experiences people have when dealing with insurance companies, positioning An Post Insurance, as the solution to avoiding a negative experience. The campaign uses relatable scenarios to connect with consumers and show just how An Post Insurance can help them when they need that support the most.


The 'Human About Insurance' campaign successfully allowed us to bring the An Post Insurance brand into the new An Post world.
