Lux's locally tailored campaign compares a woman's beauty to the moon
The team at Wunderman Thompson was inspired by a popular culture reference that was appropriate & very well known in the country - 'Chand Sa Roshan Chehra' or Moonlit Glowing Face which was the perfect embodiment of Lux's Glow and hence the birth of the new campaign. The team then worked to find suitable songs in multiple languages, ensuring a locally tailored campaign for multiple regions within the country.
Working within the constraints of the countrywide lockdown, Wunderman Thompson, conceptualized and crafted the latest script featuring India's hottest couple, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan to create a charming and intriguing film for the relaunch of the brand.
The film, shot at the home of the celebrities, with a very basic set up and a minimal crew, was the first at home shoot for the brand that has been epitomized as the beauty secret of Indian film stars.
