The airline industry has been hit hard by COVID-19 – and Thai Airways wanted to do their part to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Inspiration

The excitement of a journey doesn’t start with the flight – it starts with the planning. Thai Airways not only wanted to reward members for staying in during lockdown, but also give them hope that future travel is not too far away.

Idea

We launched the #StayHomeEarnMiles campaign with an app that uses geolocation to track users and reward them with free miles to encourage them to stay home during the pandemic.

Growth

The campaign has received major buzz across leading media outlets and industry press.
